Ring-billed Seagulls

I found these Seagulls at the river last month. I love shooting gulls because it is so easy as they seem to glide thru the air rather slowly. These two were perched on top of a light.

Breakfast in the Morning Sun

I don't really like the House Sparrows much but this little female looked rather cute sitting in the early morning sun.

Meet "Stumpy"

I was looking out the kitchen window while doing dishes and noticed this goldie on the thistle feeder. I kept watching him and then realized he only had one foot! Poor little guy ... he seems to get around quite well though.

My Little "Chickadee"

These little guys are sooooooo fast that most of the time it is hard to get off a shot. They work so hard at opening the sunflower seeds. I love watching them!

Downy Woodpecker (male)

There were a lot of Woody's in the old Maple tree yesterday. This Downy was taking a short time out from "pecking". He had been trying to steal a peanut from a Red-bellied Woody .... he didn't get too far with that idea :) The RBW was all over the poor little Downy ... very comical to watch the Woody's.

Tufted Titmouse

I was so thrilled to see this little Titmouse coming to the feeder. I haven't had any of these beautiful little birds at the feeders for almost 2 years! A couple of winters ago there were tons of them in this area. They are such pretty little birds and a lot of fun to watch. Not the best photo but it was cloudy when I shot it :)
